Welcome to the SIRLS Recordings Page
SIRLS records educational events, guest speakers and other kinds of live presentations in order to share them with students, faculty, alumni, staff and others in the SIRLS community who are unable to attend. These recordings, which may include audio or audio and video combined with supplementary presentation material, enrich the educational experience for SIRLS virtual students who are unable to attend programs in person.
Podcasts (audio recording)
You can subscribe to the SIRLS Podcast Series in iTunes (visit the SIRLS iTunes Podcast Page after installing the iTunes software), or subscribe/playback via RSS by clicking the icon below or subscribing to http://deimos3.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Feed/arizona-public.1476467... in your favorite newsreader software (e.g. Bloglines, Google Reader). Once the iTunes software is installed, links on the pages listed below will lead directly to the podcast on Arizona iTunes U. An iPod or other MP3 player is not required.

Note: Accompanying presentations require Adobe Acrobat Reader.
SIRLS students, faculty and staff may check out a digital audio recorder and a video camera to record live events for later podcast. For further information or to arrange to check out the recorder, contact the SIRLS main office or emailsirls@email.arizona.edu.
Before SIRLS can disseminate recordings, we require this signed release from presenters.
Podcasts are usually sound only, but podcasts can be available as videos. Typical SIRLS podcasts will be just audio.
Videos (not in iTunes video format)
SIRLS also occasionally makes recordings of presentations in other formats, for example, there are some Elluminate recordings of Research Brown Bag presentations. Click on the link provided and for first time Elluminate users, follow any screen instructions to download the Elluminate player applet
