These are the Graduate College Degree Certification Department Deadlines for submitting paperwork, etc., for graduation. These selections apply to Masters candidates only.

DOCTORAL CANDIDATES

Deadline: 3rd Semester in Residence

Deadline: Before admission to degree candidacy (Oral & written exams to be taken in successive semesters)

Deadline: After completion of comprehensive exams and no later than the semester immediately following the semester in which you complete your comprehensive exams (not counting summer sessions)

COMMENCEMENT PROGRAM

The Commencement Program goes to press 1-1/2 months before the commencement ceremony. Notify the Graduate Degree Certification Office of changes in your completion date to ensure your name will appear in the program.

Doctoral Students must complete all requirements to attend the commencement ceremony. Completion of requirements includes passing the Oral Defense Examination and submission of the final copies of the Dissertation/Document to the Graduate Degree Certification Office.
