The Academic Library at Arizona Western College is seeking a forward thinking, enthusiastic individual for our Information Technology Librarian position. Do you enjoy working with library technology, electronic resources and emerging technologies? Our library team embraces and appreciates individuals who are willing to share new ideas and how it might enhance our library services.

The individual in this position manages the integrated library system, maintains the libraries web pages, supports all library technology systems including online and remote access to resources, stays abreast of and makes recommendations on emerging technologies for the library. This position also includes participating in reference and instruction.
 
Qualifications
Required: ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent degree. Knowledge of and ability to use automated library systems and print and electronic resources, including advanced web and database searching. Demonstrated project management skills and experience in managing or implementing technological projects. Familiarity with current issues and trends in academic librarianship.
 
Preferred: Familiarity with SirsiDynix’s iBistro/Symphony integrated library system. Familiarity w/web authoring tools. Knowledge of core library operations. Experience in academic library setting. 2 years library experience.
