Professor Martin is a novelist, a former jeweler, and the chair of the Philosophy Department at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  He is the editor of Philosophy of Deception.  And he is the author of the novel How to Sell.  Read the reviews at the New York Times, the Guardian, the New York Review of Books, Newsweek, and the Village Voice.  Also, read his contributions to the London Review of Books.
