Helmke featured in Dove & Snake
Matthew Helmke, a current SIRLS student, recently had a short story from his book Nowhere Else to Turn published in Dove & Snake, a local Tucson literary and cultural zine.
In his book, Helmke recounts the stories told to him by people from Morocco concerning supernatural beings. He shared his thoughts on the book, Morocco, the supernatural, and cross-cultural understanding in an interview for the Dove & Snake blog.
